The 362,000 sq. ft. addition features a new emergency department, intensive care unit, critical care unit, and acute care. The project was designed using 3D Building Information Modeling where all team members collaborated in the modeling process to create a seamless coordination process.
The building is equipped for steam and condensate, medical gas, chilled water, hot water heating and condenser water. It is also "boiler ready" for future onsite steam generation.
